A Venue for Learning Conservation and Innovative Technology in Historic Jefferson, Texas

The Jeffersonian Institute hosts and sponsors annual non-profit educational events. Coming events will be announced on the Event Calendar page once schedules are finalized.

The Institute building is also available for rental as a venue for a wide range of specialized uses. Classrooms, lecture halls, breakout rooms, conference rooms, galley, interior courtyard, a catering servery, and office spaces are also available.

Each year at the Institute, there is a regional quilt show, Civil War Reenactor's Ball, and numerous conferences on subjects ranging from environmental conservation & public safety, to forums for regional technological improvements.

The Jeffersonian Institute has hosted a number of mock trials, environmental training and summits, corporate training programs, executive sessions, and business gatherings of all types.

In addition, our building has been the location for social events such as weddings, prom dances, formal balls, cotillions, parties, receptions, reunions, and retreats.

Our elegant building provides timeless ambiance that is an asset to any event.
